The ZPAP M70 is Zastava's full-size rifle and the one that finally gave American shooters a properly built Yugoslav AK. It uses a thicker 1.5mm stamped receiver and a bulged front trunnion, features carried from the RPK line, which makes it noticeably more robust than typical AK builds. Chambered in 7.62x39 with a 16.25-inch chrome-lined barrel and a blued finish, this version comes fitted with Magpul furniture.

Zastava's reputation rests on heavy-duty construction and consistent fit, and the M70 has become the default recommendation for shooters who want an AK that will genuinely last.
