A Proof Research carbon fiber pre-fit barrel for the Tikka T3x, chambered in 6mm Creedmoor at 20 inches. Pre-fit barrels have made rebarreling far more accessible: headspace and shoulder are set at the factory for the specific action, so the swap is straightforward rather than a gunsmithing project.

The carbon fiber wrap takes significant weight off the muzzle while resisting the heat-driven point-of-impact shift that thin steel profiles develop through a string. The Tikka T3x is one of the most accurate factory actions available, and this is a natural next step for owners who want to cut carry weight without giving up precision.
