Retay's ACE-R is an inertia-driven semi-automatic shotgun, a design that stays cleaner than gas guns and shrugs off the cold and grit that come with hard field use. Retay's bolt-locking system keeps the action closed when the gun is set down or slung, a small detail that matters when you are handling a shotgun in a blind full of gear.

This one is a 20 gauge with a 26-inch barrel in Legacy camo, chambered for 3-inch shells. The 20 has become far more capable with modern loads, and the lighter gun is a pleasure to carry through a day of walking up birds.
