Retay's RXP22 is a .22 LR pistol with a hammer-fired double-action/single-action trigger and a 4-inch threaded barrel, finished in OD green and black. Rimfire pistols earn their keep as training tools — the ammunition costs a fraction of centerfire, so you can put in the repetitions that actually build trigger control, and the recoil is mild enough that new shooters never develop a flinch. The threaded muzzle makes it a natural suppressor host, and a suppressed .22 is about as pleasant as shooting gets. Also a capable small game and pest control sidearm for the camp or the back forty.
